Ok...I need to stop buying chicks!  I'm obsessed...so obsessed that I went to a poultry swap meet!

But I found these 3 chicks..

The Run & Funny Flappers

 The chicken run is really coming along.  The chicks LOVE running out into the run in the mornings and we let them roam the yard when we supervising.

 Once they come into the yard the real entertainment begins...

Rooster Alert!

Today...sweet little Millie became Milton.  It was a horrific attempt at a crow...but it was definitely a crow.  Milton is a beautiful bird and as long as he gets along with everyone, he will have a permanent home here. So much for those blue eggs I was looking forward to.

Easter Party 2014

We had a blast at our Easter egg hunt party yesterday.  All of my nieces and nephews participated (except the HS freshman)  in....

and then a prize auction with chick cash they found in their eggs.  Even the adults got in on the fun with a raw egg relay and raw egg toss game.

Food:
3 kinds of Deviled eggs (avocado-cilantro, blue cheese-bacon, & ranch)

Lumpy dip (Alisa brought this---ALWAYS a fave!!)

5 dogs were in attendance...

 Charlie, Pierce & Jeri....Tito (Nelson's dog)....and Leo (Sarah's dog).
